Although I don’t commonly use the Answer Requests tool, I make periodic checks of requests I’ve accepted (after doing the research to check for dups) and sometimes see things that I was wondering about asking myself. I’ve seen it on other sites, though none of these sites are wikis and was wondering if there was a way that we could institute a feature that allowed users to get notifications for when articles are written which they themselves didn’t originally request after they found these article titles in the list. I’ve seen this displayed on sites saying “I was wondering that too” or similar - but that sent a notification which pinged the page to send the link to me to check in on those items after their request was written.

I know it’s not high priority, and I don’t even know if it can be done on a wiki. But having the idea floating around, might give some ideas for some hope for this feature to come about.

Or if you’re like me and didn’t sign up for getting notified when you first requested a topic and now regret that, this could be useful also.

But isn’t the risk of spaming someone with notifications pretty high?

I’m not sure if it’s feasible either, but definitely worth putting out there! Thanks @EpcotMagic , I’ll make a note of it.
