I"m pretty good with Tech, so it’s no wonder I use this tool so much. However, whenever I come across an article that I feel I can edit to correct the inaccuracy and update it, I don’t really enjoy having to right-click the title line, click to open in another tab, then once on the page, click the Edit link. Can’t we have a Quick Edit feature or some way I can go in and fix the issues the editor is talking about without all that extra clicking? I’m sorry that I’m more involved in other projects at this time, but I do wish I could’ve fixed a lot more as the feedback shows so more-accurate details can be compiled.

In terms of the New Tips Patrol, can we have a quick edit button in there for the remainder of the article? At the current time, I’ve found two rather accurate “tips” (after doing some double-check researching) that have been negated inside the article, that I feel could be remedied with a quick edit. The other one would still be based off the tip that would add additional versions of what’s present in the article - all while doing research.) I feel like I’d click wrong buttons to get to the Edit page at this time, but these aren’t really RCP-ready because they’d be better-suited elsewhere in the article.

Hi @Byankno1 thanks for bringing your suggestions to the forum. I can see how these two changes would improve the ease and functionality of the tools and help editors improve articles overall.

I’m curious to see if others would find this beneficial as well.

Currently Tips Patrol is still in an experimental phase of returning, so if it’s confirmed that we’re keeping it, that’s something we can consider bringing up.

Personally, I don’t really edit articles when patrolling tips or tech feedback, but I can see how this option would be helpful to other editors. Support idea.
