I’m just a new member who joined here, and wrote a first article, but it got deleted, much to my embarrassment. I have to admit that I’m not familiar with guidelines and rules, and I need lots of support and help to write great articles without unknowingly violating guidelines and rules. I want to get some useful and important advice that I have to remember and consider it before writing something in wikiHow. I will keep trying and practicing to make a great article that will be accepted. Thanks.
Here are two solid pieces of information to remember (throughout the many different pieces that are freely available to anyone who wants them).

Don’t be discouraged, my first article was deleted too. Some quick tips for new users:
- Both articles linked by Byankno1 above
- Make sure your articles won’t get NFD’d
.
- Strive for rising stars
.
- Revise
!!!
- Think like a reader.
- Ask for help. This is one of the most cheerful and helpful communities on the web, most of us love answering questions, so if in doubt, just ask us.
It’s OK! Really! I’m a newcomer to wikihow as well, but I think I know my way around here! I’ve been here for only two weeks or so, but believe me; all my articles are stubs. I’ve written ten or so, and all of them are stubs. Just keep trying, you will make it. I’ve had a lot of support, and Wikihow is a very loving and helpful community. Ask, and you will get an answer. I believe one day, with the help of many other passionate helpers and editors, my articles will make it to be a rising star and a full article, and you will write an article they will accept. Just look at the terms and conditions, and the user guidelines, and you should be on your way. If you have any questions, I would be happy to help in any way I can.
