I’ve been looking at some nfd|sar (sarcastic) articles, and I’ve noticed they just say “Sarcastic. A how-to manual is not the place for sarcasm”. I think this is a bit redundant, maybe we can possibly have things like: *This article was written in a sarcastic tone and not meant to be taken seriously or something similar? I do not think the current description isn’t, well “descriptive” enough.

I agree. This seems to be a better description than the other.
Yep

What would you suggest as an alternate wording?

I don’t really understand why it needs further clarification?

The suggestion is a bit redundant itself. Sarcasm, in general, isn’t actually supposed to be taken seriously in the first place, so therefore repeating yourself to make your point across isn’t going to allow better understanding. It would be better, if any, if the wording were to change from, “Sarcastic. A how-to manual is not the place for sarcasm” to “Sarcastic. wikiHow is not the place for sarcastic material”. And at all honesty, I can guarantee you, if any NFD tag included “not meant to be taken seriously”, more than half of the kid-related or kid-friendly articles would be nominated.
How could anyone not
agree? *edited to correct quote format
Couldn’t agree with everything more. I like the suggestion for changing to “Sarcastic. wikiHow is not the place for sarcastic material”.
