With the winterous weather rapidly approaching, I thought it would be a good idea for a group of us to focus on looking at flu/cold/anything related to the cold types articles in preparation. I mean obviously there will be hevy focus on christmas articles but I thought this might help improve the quality of other search alternatives during the season. Let me know what you think, -Jamie

Not everyone is approaching winter, as half of the earth is approaching summer:wink:Why not have some sort of seasonal theme every four to six months? Someone can even make it into a project or group… and then chop it up into sections according to the seasons. Focusing on heatwaves, whether you’re in your car, with pets, at school, etc is as important as winter weather.

Ah, spoken as one who lived in Hawaii? Do they have winter in the Islands, and do you miss their ‘‘boring weather’’? We do have some Aussies, a South African, and a couple of New Zealanders who are about to be dealing with Summer, so it does work both ways!

I regularly tend to forget how’s the this site is! Either way I think having some seasonal focus for seasonal visitors wouldn’t be such a bad idea:slight_smile:

It’s been a very long winter for us here in NZ, but spring is here now, so hanging out for some sunshine:slight_smile:

when it comes down to the nitty gritty, biting cold that comes every year here in the High desert of California; I am sure to remain properly hydrated with WATER of course… some soothing hot tea of your choice will suffice as well. Eat them organic fruits and veggies. I’m growing some apple and pomegranate trees right now and I must say pommies and apples over fried chicken and burgers any day. Keep up with that exercise to keep your lymphatic system pumping, clear out any nasty nasty toxins. Oh, and please steer clear of the coughs, kisses, and sneezes of those who are sick in your family… it will spread like wild fire the sickness. ehhh. I’ll be crocheting and sewing together some winter garments and learning how to make organic hot chocolate… yummmm

It’s even getting cold here in Greece! To the extent that I am planning on going skiing locally in a month. -Jamie

Hmm, maybe not a weather-based kind of theme, then? Since everyone has varying temperatures, holidays, e.t.c it’ll be difficult to find a common thing to have as the theme for everyone. But yes, where I am it’s getting *freezing*!

I was thinking maybe some sort of insight to search traffic from various countries so we can see what type of articles will need work in advance. Or even better, maybe dividing up the requested articles into seasons aswell as categories… hm… i’m not sure… -Jamie
