When I generally try to find a category or articles with category issues, I tend to use the Category searchable script page (located at wikihow.com/Special:Categories
). However, for the longest time, there’s been two categories of interest that have been quite faulty that I think are stuck. I see they have no articles associated to them, but to clean up these problems, I feel they should be looked into and fixed - probably even kicking them back into working mode should work. The following two categories are listed on this searchable script page that don’t conform to our category rules that I believe should be kicked out of the list.
- https://www.wikihow.com/Category:-
(this one just contains a space after the namespace designation and that’s it)
- https://www.wikihow.com/Category:-Health
(this one contains a space in between the namespace and name of the category, and can be merged with it’s corrected category https://www.wikihow.com/Category:Health
)
Can someone look into and fix these buggy issues? Thanks in advance.
Thanks @Byankno1
, those two do look unusual. I will take a closer look into resolving this as soon as possible.
To update, I looked into these this afternoon and don’t actually see anything that we can do with these at this stage. The one that is just a space doesn’t technically exist, and the other redirects to the correct Health category, so I think we might just have to live with them for now!
Ok. Then just keep it in mind, in case someone discovers another way to kick it back into place, because while I don’t think it’s high priority right now, it’s definitely stuck (just the space). I thought I’d bring up a valid point. No biggie from here…
Thanks @Awesome-Aasim
, but having it redirect might still be the best option here - unless you know if there are any articles in that category?
