I want to include a list of examples in the article I’m editing, with each example having a small description following it. Because the description is sometimes a few lines, I’m considering drawing emphasis to each item’s name for easier reading.
Should I put the names in bold, italics, or none at all?
I currently have it in bold, but I’m starting to think it might be a bit much, and am beginning to lean towards using the italics instead.

How you emphasize something is a matter of personal choice - there’s no standardized way of doing it. I personally alternate between bold and italics depending on how much I want the list items to catch the reader’s attention.
