I know. It makes me so sad. I watched personal documentaries of him and he said that when he was young, his father always teased him about how ugly he looked because of his big nose that he had at the time. When he got older, he became very self conscious about his appearance in front of people on stage because of how his father treated him, so he tried relieving some of that personal pressure by having surgery to reduce the size of his nose. I thought that he looked perfectly fine before he got surgery, but I guess that’s what peer pressure does to a person.

Ok, so first I’ll start with his death and what revolved around it.
Years before he died, Michael went through a lot of pain for many reasons. He was accused of child molestation 10 times and had to pay a large amount of money for each. However, he was proven guilty every time he was charged. He was also going through a lot of pain because he suffered from different skin disorders, one which included vitiligo (which makes the skin appear blotched.) Another pain he was dealing with was weak lungs from constant touring, performing, rehearsing, etc. He could never seem to get away from any of it. One link to his bad lungs went to his personal doctor, Mr. Muray (don’t know how to spell that XD) He would give Michael very dangerous drugs to help deal with the many pains he had. Michael also suffered from not being able to sleep for nights on end. His doctor would give him many drugs just to get the poor guy to sleep. Michael would normally pass out from all these drugs; this was his form of ‘sleep’ which is very sad.
He also suffered from pain in his back, which made his hardcore dance routines hard for him to perform. Now, in between all this, he had land called Neverland Ranch. I can’t describe it all here, but he called it his paradise. He did his best to live out his lost childhood here since his father forced him into a star at a young age and didn’t give Michael any time to be a kid. Because of the accusations, Michael went into very bad debt, ranging up to 400 million dollars. To solve this, he decided to make the painful decision to go on yet another tour, which included up to 50 shows. He had great income when he toured, so he figured that touring would help him to keep his beloved ranch. He named the tour This Is It, and he began the process of staying up late and rehearsing up till late hours of the night. He even decided to have the process of the tour creation recorded so that it could become a published ‘movie.’ Because of his pain, Michael had to take many drugs just so that he could get through one night with high levels of energy and with no pain. At night, he kept taking more drugs. In one interview, Michael had told one of his friends, “I know that there are 50 shows, but in my condition, I’m not sure if I can perform even two.” Michael was only doing this to keep his ranch and to keep himself and his children from going homeless.
One night, he was having sleeping problems again after rehearsing. His personal doctor gave him drug after drug to get him to sleep. Finally, he gave Michael Propofol, which is a drug that is supposed to be taken only after surgery. Michael’s body couldn’t handle all of the effects from many different drugs at one time, which stopped his heart.
The story after that is pretty long, but it hurts me so bad to be saying this because in videos, I could see all the pain he was in and what he did to keep his family going. He was also very hurt because in papers and on TV, people made up random lies about him and said nasty things about him for whatever reasons. He never had any close friends either, because when he told anybody anything, they went out and told the world, but exaggerated it so much that it was almost crazy to believe. Michael’s life was filled with pain, unhappiness, a life without a wife, haunting memories from his past, and much more. I just feel so bad because I know that his life could have been so much better if it wasn’t for all the media and everything/everybody else that completely destroyed him.
I know. I feel so bad for the kids though because they were left to Michael’s mom.
