A few years ago, I ended up starting an article about “Take Screenshots of an Android Device (from a Computer)” wikihow.com/Take-a-Screenshot-of-an-Android-Device-(from-a-Computer)
. Although when I started it my Android device had the options, I got carried away last week when I cleared off my Android device (and ended up deleting these buttons)(I just got an iPhone and got disgusted at this silly Android phone that’s got several problems up my ying-yang) the article talks about with it (the files it talks about are gone). Maybe it’s not even my phone that I deleted it from. Maybe it’s something else…I don’t know. Can someone please update it accordingly, and even add screenshots? Remember, the device would be plugged into the computer to take the screenshots. While I can take screenshots on my device, I’ll have to do it the power and home-button way (which this particular device is able to do/use) when I take the screenshots for other articles I started that deal with Android devices.

I would help — if Windows 8 identified my Droid :’( It always worked in Windows 7, but the most I can do is charging my phone now when it’s connected. Sorry Chris!
Found some information that will help anyone who can help me update it: http://www.howtogeek.com/121121/how-to-take-android-screenshots-on-your-pc-with-the-android-sdk/
I’ll take the screenshots later.
Ok. Although I haven’t quite gotten all the screenshots yet, I have updated the article.
Since the very first update I gave this article a few days ago, the article has gone very far. I’ve updated the article as well as uploaded the screenshots (except one). Although I still can’t seem to grasp why the edit summary still attaches stuff from one box to the other(long story), it’s pretty much a “done deal” from my end for now. http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Take-a-Screenshot-of-an-Android-Device-(from-a-Computer)&diff=13280839&oldid=12975548
