hi. my budgie is biting me all the time when  my hand is close to my budgie  and I was talking softly and I was really slow to not scare the bird but it just bites me!

I tried everything and I looked on wikihow articles on how to reduce those bites but my budgie keeps biting!

no idea if its scared but I had it nearly for 3 years so it knows me and  my family well.

my budgie bites others too and we tried to ignore the bad behaviour but it keeps happening and now we cant have our budgie on our fingers.

I think its scared of hands and fingers but I was feeding it from my hand so it got used to it.

I cant even stroke it! my budgie is scared of everything and all other budgies are different but my budgie is very weird so I really need help.

Try wearing gloves when handling your budgie, he will then think that biting doesn’t bother you. Hopefully the biting will subside. Good luck!

Could be fear, it is just not showing it or maybe anger? I am not sure, wearing gloves is a good idea but if you offer it food as well, it will see you as a friend and not a foe
