With the prior design, we were able to upload our own files a lot quicker. They were right on the first page of the app. But now, they are hidden under another tab. To make it so it’s just as quick now, perhaps we should think about bringing out a preference to make that tab the default for some users to switch on/off at their will. It seems to default back to Flickr tab, which makes the consistent switch to Local File tab tough for me to move when there are so many steps and substeps to deal with. I do like however, that the system is a lot quicker now when uploading and moving from page-to-page within the app. But I do have a quirk to bring up with this redesign in terms of picture uploads from local files.
