Is having the ability to show or hide certain dashboard elements important to your wikiHow work?
In the move towards responsive, the engineers are likely going to need to make changes to the dashboard, and supporting some features is more difficult than others. Because of this, we’re trying to gauge what’s most important.
Please let us know by leaving a comment below if not having this feature would impact you. Thanks!

I personally have never used the function, so not having the feature likely won’t impact me. I don’t really mind the order of the tools on the dashboard.
Exciting about the changes coming up, though!

I use the feature, but I could live without it.

I’m with @Eric
on this one. I use the feature, but if it had to go, I could survive.
I mostly use it to sort through ways to edit. For example, stuff that is a high priority for me (such as RCP, welcome wagon and review tech feedback) I sort it and stick it at the top. Then things such as NAB (tools that I can’t use) are sorted at the bottom.
I really like being able to have my community dashboard sorted and organized. This is a feature that I, personally, would like to stay, but if it makes things harder for the wH team, I’d be okay with it going.
That’s just my $0.02.
I use the feature, but could adapt to its absence.
I don’t use the community dashboard itself I do wikiGnome things and rollback edits. My awnser is IDC if you remove it.
I don’t use the feature, so it doesn’t matter.
I didn’t even know that existed. I don’t care if it goes.
I’m actually currently hiding several unused apps from my Dashboard, but as long as I can move them far down the Dashboard (and out of sight), I can live with changes - as long as fixing something doesn’t break something else more vitally-important. (“Don’t fix something that ain’t broken OR Don’t change something for the sake of change” something I tend to see time and time again.)
I think it seems useful. I’ve tried to use it before, but I don’t think it actually works on my device since I can never get it to remove an app
I agree with what everyone else has been saying - it’s nice, but it’ll be fine if it’s removed.
I don’t hide anything on the dashboard. I do sort the items, but I would not mind if that feature was removed.
I don’t think it would be a big deal for me. I hide the add video icon because the firewall blocks YouTube videos, but it’s completely okay for me. Edit: Let me fix my statement. I actually don’t hide anything.
I think because we have a sidebar I do not think it is super important to have a redundant special page that could function the same as the sidebar. Also, there is the “Special pages” special page which could maybe be enhanced so it has community dashboard related elements (such as the amount of backlog in a particular tool). I think that page can be organised so that we see the relevant tools (i.e. recent changes patrol) at the top and the advanced tools (log, block user, recent changes list) at the bottom.
I don’t use it. It could go away or stay. :3
It’s okay if the dashboards gone and the haus has a plan.

To clarify, I don’t think there is any plan on doing away with the Dashboard altogether - it’s a pretty vital part of the site that promotes community engagement. It’s more so just a question of whether people use the feature of removing certain “apps” from the page.
I use it, it filters out the tools I can’t use.

I use it to hide the tools I can’t use, but it’'d be no big deal to me if that option were no longer available.
Didn’t know it existed. It can go.
I barely even use the dashboard to begin with, but when I do I don’t hide anything - I just shuffle as needed
