When I click “Quick Note”, the page just refreshes. If I do it after reverting an edit, it just simply refreshes the page. I made a screencast. Hopefully it’s “good enough” lol. OS is Windows 8 64-bit, Browser is Firefox 22 Update: Sometimes it’ll fail, sometimes it’ll work. http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cIiT00VzdJ This one is a failure after reverting: http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cIiT0UVzds

The same thing happened for me with the new RC.

I don’t have an answer, and it’s working presently for me in Firefox, but would it surprise anyone if Krystle posts a suggestion to refresh our browser’s cache (her famous fix-all suggestion?)?

Same problem here, has been happening off and on all day. Quick Note advances to the next article. The back button brings up a “No Diff To Go Back To” dialog box.

Just to be clear, this is happening for me in Special:RCPatrol.

This is happening for me in Special:Recentchanges , AKA Old School RC

Seemed to be fixed now, but not in RC patrol. Wait…at one moment, I thought if was fixed…

It now doesn’t seem to bee working in either Special:RC, or Recent Changes.

Works some times, but not others.

D’aww, that’s because many “bugs” get fixed that way:wink:I filed a bug report for this. Thanks!

Yea, that’s what happens to me as well.

*works at one moment and then doesn’t at another?8

Still working intermittently on Special:RCPatrol. I just noticed the Quick Note feature in Quality Guardian has the same problem–it refreshes the page.

It’s happening for me too. I was going to post a bug for it, but I see others are having the same problem. Safari user. June Days

I am having the problem with Quick Note on the RC Patrol App.

This bug is so weird, it’s been on and off. I filed a bug report, then closed it because I thought it had fixed itself, then opened it again. It’s being looked at…

Hrmph. Engineers are having a lot of trouble reproducing this bug. @sudoking @junedays @isorhythmic is it still happening for you? If so, what browser are you using, and can you capture it on a screencast? http://www.wikihow.com/Record-a-Screencast-with-Screencast‐O‐Matic

I updated to FF 23… same thing. And I know it’s not my PC because I just reformatted my HD:confused:

Still having the same problem with both Special RC and the old Recent Changes, using FF

Used your screencast account, Krystle (hope that’s okay!). Four examples: http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cIjQcqVBpA Using Safari. June Days
