Hi all,

What are your thoughts on a {{redirect}} template? Whenever I redirect a user’s article because the titles are interchangeable, I have to type out a message because there isn’t a template as far as I know - would this be something that other boosters/admins would like?

It would probably be something like: {{redirect|original article|new article}}, and the message would be: Hi, user, thanks for creating an article on wikiHow. I redirected your article [original article] to [new article] because I felt that their titles were interchangeable. Please continue that article instead - your efforts have not gone wasted! Thanks again for contributing to wikiHow and let me know if you have any questions.

The {{merge}} template already exists, and redirecting an article to an existing interchangeable title is considered a merge (quick and dirty merge).
