It would be nice to look at thread titles and know what the subject matter of the the thread was. Looking down this page I see:
- Wrong Images?
- Idea!
- A new article!
- ugg:(
Being specific would go a long way to making the threads more useful both now and in the future. I am pretty sure that the original poster can edit their thread titles, but, if not, an administrator should be able to service name change requests for the threads. This is not a big issue, just a point of etiquette and functionality to consider when creating threads.
Agreed. I’m all for better titles. Problem is easily solved by an administrator asking the author of the thread if he/she doesn’t mind them changing the title for sake of better understanding about what’s going on. Of course a big help would be to just take a bit more effort before writing a thread title. Saves a lot of time altogether.
I agree; better and more specific titles would be nice
I agree as well, even though I think I was the one who posted Ugg, sorry about that!
It’s not really something new, I think this was part of the rules/forum etiquette mentioned on all the wikiHow articles about the forums. Descriptive thread titles aren’t just a nice thing to have, they’re a necessity for a clean and ordered forum. People who use the forums frequently should maintain them, too.
