I just made a new team: http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:WikiHow-Project , as well as a UIB: http://www.wikihow.com/Template:User-WHA . Any thoughts?

Looks good to me. I see no problems with the project, so you have my support.

Caution: Teams form quickly… and disappear just as quickly… leaving unused team pages and UIB’s in their wake. In some respects? it’s best to just DO what you enjoy… and let people join you if they like without demanding they add their name to any list or add a UIB to their userpages. Otherwise? It is all too easy to end up spending more time maintaining the team page than you do in any actual, measurably improving, work on wikiHow.

Teams are supposed to get community approval. Do you see anywhere in this post where I told people to actually join?

No.

I do want to improve wikiHow. Making a project is about improving. There are so many teams and projects, and lots of people improve by joining that project. I did not make this project to just let people join only or make bad edits. (Edit) @McDonalds1 It shows you are posting a message here, but it’s not showing.
