I really don’t know which category this would go under. (Please move it if it’s not, thanks). I think that a lot of people are afraid to share their opinions and their understandings and their ideas with the site. I sure am. Personally, it’s very hard to share a new idea or feature on wikiHow without someone being so harsh. I don’t know what gives people the idea that they can be harsh to new contributors. I guess maybe new contributors think they have the right to do anything/everything they want to do? Unless it’s a admin that posts something, I can’t believe the utter disrespect some people get. For example, if a admin posts a new team for adding videos, everyone will be like: “Oh yeah! What a great idea!” If a normal contributor posts a team, people will be like: “Seriously, what the heck is this?” It’s just so mean. It’s very hard to share your opinion here. It seems as if only admins/long time contributors get respect, and all the others are worthless. I can almost guarantee that on this post, someone will ask me what this is about, or why. I just want to tell people who share their ideas to be strong no matter how harsh the people can be. To the people who are harsh, why view the post and then post a rude comment underneath? That makes NO sense. NOTE: PLEASE DON’T CLOSE THIS. WE ARE TRYING TO DISCUSS SOMETHING!
We have the freedom of speech to share our ideas. Yet another example of not being able to share our opinions.

’s decision to move this to general chat. I don’t understand what you mean by “Yet another example of not being able to share our opinions.” You can share your opinions, but certain opinions are better suited for general chat, especially when the topic is about what bothers you personally. What I mean is by closing the forum when we are talking. I mean seriously? We’re trying to discuss something, and then @Tdubell
comes in and says “I am going to close this thread.” SO annoying.
Plus, why wasn’t the last forum thread moved, but this one was? I bet it’s because the “General Chat” section gets less exposure. Right now, this website isn’t very appealing regarding sharing your opinion. If we are allowed to share our opinion (said by all admins) then why did you close the thread? This is just one of the worst sites I have ever seen with sharing opinions. Apparently “Jack and Krystle made this site so you could share your opinions”. Most of us CANT. I just don’t know if anyone else is feeling the utter stress I am with this site.

Hey Connor! You sound really stressed out. It’s just a forum thread being moved, and issuing complaint after complaint isn’t going to help things. Maybe take a break and do something that relieves stress? Like play baseball or read a book? I hope you feel better. Have a relaxing evening (or whatever time of day it is where you live)!

I couldn’t agree with you more. I am a person who likes to get their opinion across extremely well. I appreciate that you’ve been very calm with me regarding this situation.
I see this thread isn’t getting 10 posts a minute anymore. I think the earlier upset is starting to fade away. Just another reason why anger may seem strong, but it’s a sprinter not a mile runner (it’s usually strong in short but not in the long run).
(: Things tend to get said quite harshly in the heat of the moment. Guess some time away (“a breather”) does a lot in calming things down.
Indeed.However, I still am going to hold a grudge over all this since it’s a problem everywhere.
