I think the first method of this article should be removed because the article’s title is talking about a wikiHow page, not a user page. http://www.wikihow.com/Add-a-Photo-to-a-wikiHow-Page
Should the first method be removed for this reason?

Isn’t userpages “technically” wikiHow pages? If different kinds of “pages” were to be combined into one title, it seems fine and the information can be found in one place.

I thought there was another separate article that was about adding a photo to your profile anyway.
The first method talks about adding a profile picture, which is not even closeto what the article is supposed to mention. It’s been pulled out of there. http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Add-a-Photo-to-a-wikiHow-Page&diff=16198732&oldid=13140536

Actually, I took a look at Maluniu’s comment and thought for a bit - a user page is a wikiHow page.
Again, the first method is about adding a profile picture, which is notwhat the article is supposed to talk about. That’s why I pulled it. You even reverted it without explanation, so I’ve reverted again. Edit: The first method’s information is pretty much covered in Change Your Profile Picture on wikiHow
.

I did have an explanation - it just didn’t show. Changing a profile picture is different because you already have a picture, but you want to change it. If you don’t even have an image yet, that’s adding an image, and a user page is still a wikihow page if you think about it - I’m going to revert your edit again.

My explanation was also that a user page is a wikihow page.
That is an example of engaging in an edit war. Now let’s stop the dispute, and keep the first method out! Edit: Adding a profile picture is the same as changing one. You need to carefully review the article I linked. You will tell that it (pretty much) is no different than adding a profile picture.

I wasn’t trying to edit war. I’ll try not to edit it anymore.
This will be an agreement.

I looked at the edit history and saw that Alabaster just reverted the edit you just made, though.
@McDonalds1
- This issue was brought to the forums to get community input and develop a consensus. For you to unilaterally answer the question and enact edits before consensus is achieved is, in my opinion, anti-collaborative. I will put in my two cents: Adding images to wikiHow pages could include: user pages, talk pages, discuss pages, templates, articles, and as many other types of pages that there are in the current state of wikiHow evolution. Each might require a different method and all would legitimately fit under the umbrella of this title. I reverted Daniel’s latest edit and am asking that he please make no further edits to the article until the community has spoken.
