So I have had snapchat for about a year and a half. I recently rooted my android device using KingRoot. I went on snapchat and I got the message saying that my snapchat sign in has temporarily failed. I looked up how to fix it and found that it will do this if you are rooted or have used another third party snapchat software. I unrooted my phone and tried again the next day and nothing changed so I full factory reset my phone. I set it up and downloaded snapchat right away to see that it was still failing. I tried signing in on my iPad and friends phones and it works. I have the official snapchat off the play store, my phone time is right and I can’t see any reason this would keep up. Please help me I have been locked out for about 2 weeks and I am getting fed up. Thanks

Have you tried booting in to the recovery and clearing your cache partition? If that doesn´t work you can try unrooting your phone and then flash stock ROM via Odin. It will bring everything back to normal.

I don’t know a lot about Snapchat but from a Snapchat Support article it sounds like you get banned when they “lock” your account. Try here to unlock the account again, but, according to the article, uninstall any third-party apps, plug-ins, or tweaks before doing this (as it’ll permanently ban/“lock” your account if you don’t and still attempt this):  https://accounts.snapchat.com/accounts/login?continue=https%3A%2F%2Faccounts.snapchat.com%2Faccounts%2Funlock
