Does this article look like it should be a stub?
I don’t think so, but I’m asking for a more-experienced editor’s opinion. Please tell me what you think of it.

I’m not a more experienced editor, but it doesn’t look like a stub to me

^By more experienced editor I meant help !

@Alabaster would you give it a lookover?

The article seems to be complete enough to not be considered a stub, but stub bot sometimes picks up articles like this one because it hurts wikiHow’s ranking to have pages with low readership, or because of old content. In this case it seems to be because of that. The good news is that it’s still available for anyone logged in:slight_smile:

So, should I leave the stub tag on there?

Yes!

Oh well. It was worth a try.

@FearlessOne I believe the low viewership might have resulted from the more comprehensive Tack up a Horse coming up higher. This one has had expert co-authorship and revisions by Seymour Edits which I imagine gave it a boost over the stubbed article.

So sometimes, if the contents are outdated, it lacks references, or it’s overshadowed by another article like this example, and it doesn’t look feasible to overhaul the contents, (note that de- and re- indexing by adding and removing a stub seems to permanently hurt viewership) there’s often a similar, better-established title out there that you can answer questions on, slot any missing advice where it fits and cite your source, etc.
