On QC, you can see what the other people have voted after you vote. But, you can’t see what other people have voted if you skip the picture/video. I think you should be able to see the votes even if you skipped it. What do you guys think?

Question: If you don’t plan on voting, why would you even want to know? Why would it matter, I mean?
I see what you’re saying, but I think that it’s probably a good thing that we don’t have that. If you press the Skip button, you’re probably honestly not sure whether the content belongs, for one reason or another. Maybe not being able to see others’ votes after pressing Skip keeps us from being swayed by other people’s votes. Keep in mind that, while most people take the time to really decide whether the video or image belongs, others may just press buttons for the sake of racking up edit counts. If you’re honestly not sure whether something should stay or go, the best option is to simply press Skip—and to not change your mind after seeing everyone else’s votes. This system seems to protect quality best.
I’ve considered that before too. But, whether or not you choose to skip it, the image gets chosen anyway right? I mean, if you skip it you really don’t get the chance to vote on that image afterwards. So it doesn’t matter what it was. (Basically what @Cece123
said, just elaborating a bit.) <3

It’s set up this way so you can see how your vote compared to votes by others in the same scenario - if someone else didn’t vote, there’s nothing to compare it to
As for seeing how people voted on something you skipped, is that something a lot of people would be interested in?
@Krystle
Sometimes when I skip, I would like to see how other people have voted, just for reference.

I sort of
see where you’re at, Ricardo. If I’m using the NFD voter or QG tool, and I skip something because I’m not sure, I guess I could see wanting to see how it was voted on for future reference on that type of article/picture. It could be an informational thing.

The way it is set up though, it’s a blind vote. No one can accuse admins of voting “no” because their buddy did. I can see wanting to know just out of curiosity though.
