I noticed that vanilla forums do have a wysiwyg addon for the forums, is it possible to add it to the forums without breaking them? See http://vanillaforums.org/addon/cleditor-plugin It would be handy for people who aren’t that familiar with html.

Hey Elyne, this was considered when the new forums were set up, but the idea was rejected because it would complicate the interface too much. I agree that it would be helpful but people seem to be posting OK so far:slight_smile:

You can see announcements if you go to the particular forum.

Maybe offer it as a choice? Even though I prefer typing in HTML, sometimes I get lazy and would like to have an editor.
