Thanks wikiHow! I love this place! Here’s why: 10. If you mess up, they fix it and help you out. 9. They give you a second chances. 8. They are always willing to help. 7. They make fun ways to contribute (such as community dashboard, projects etc.) 6. Even though wikiHow is doesn’t usually chat about non-wikiHow related stuff, they have a place to hang out and have fun. (FOURMS) 5. People who have contributed at the place for so long can get rewards. (Such as meet a community member) 4. They have fun templates and UIB’s that you can use. 3. It does not matter how long you have been apart of the community-your treated the same way! 2. If you ever need to know something, wikiHow has answers! 1. Hate to break the news, but Riley Next is no longer active on wikiHow.  Information is on her user page and talk page.:frowning:

Thanks, Riley.  You’ve done a lot.

I didn’t expect her to go. Thanks for all the amazing edits. D-:

Me neither.  Wonder what happened.

Me too as well. Too bad she left. Now the Music Project doesn’t have a leader.:frowning:

She left shortly after she was asked to stop asking Boosters to give her Rising Stars. For those who aren’t aware, we generally don’t give Rising Stars after boosting just because someone asked for one. I’d encourage people to not see a lack of a Rising Star as a failure, but rather as a means to improve your own standards for what you write. And even some of our best-written new articles don’t get Rising Stars when they’re boosted - but that doesn’t stop them from helping readers, and they can be continually improved upon as many times as wanted. Many editors find it much more satisfying to set a goal of writing an article that’s helpful for readers, since that can be seen in reader feedback and ratings for a long time after any Rising Star has left the feed:slight_smile:

I can happily take control of that seeing as I was co-leader if you want.

That might not have been it.  I’m sure she had the good faith to not leave after not getting rising stars.

Her talk page had a school tag on it.  Perhaps the school was too much that she had to leave.  To be honest, wikiHow can sometimes be a distraction regarding schoolwork.

@Thehelper101 I agree with your point.

At this point, things are getting off-topic. :-/

We should leave this discussion here to fade on its own.

Hey wikiHowers! This is Riley Next. That’s right, I’ve retired. Thanks @Thehelper101 for the compliment! I see that Alex is confused about why I left, so I came in just because I had to clear this up. I lifted due to personal reasons and an overload of schoolwork. I felt like I had to retire for awhile so I could just get back on track.
