I personally love this new update! It fits the website, and doesn’t lag anymore - yay! I’m really enthusiastic about this, and love the new, more streamlined designs. I love this update!
What are your thoughts on the new forums update?

The one hour rule is just a setting change; Lojjik adjusted it, should be as it was before :)
I believe you can still edit the HTML, use the button to the far right that looks like a page with an open and close tag on it. Let’s see… I can make this whatever color I want!
Thanks for telling me that, Anna! Now I can change my post!
The new forum update is nicely organized now, and it looks like the future!
Thanks a lot!
The functionality is a lot better! I like that I’m able to add HTML much more easily
@Darkfrost
I’m so glad you like it!
I love that too. I guess that we won’t be seeing so many questions regarding it from newcomers after all.
Hopefully it “helps” with those questions!
Wohowwwwwwwwwwwwww this is Brobdingnagian. I had to google search a much higher synonym of tremendous to express how great this is. I can do Evvvvvvvverything in a comment. I see the menu.
For once I thought may be in the morning it looks like this because I logged in at this time for the first time. Lols. Just trying to be funnny.
I know it must have required extreme hardwork and input from the team. Really touching and much much much appreciated. Kudos to the team. *Hip* *hip* *Hurray*
the team.
Great, not the same icon Anna mentioned for editing, but at least I do see it. (It’s a gear icon.)
Bugs: 1.) I lost all the bookmarked discussions I had from before the update, after I bookmarked another discussion.
2.) I saved an edit and tried to re-edit the same edited comment on the forums, and it take forever for the browser to position the text cursor into the box to a point where it took over 3 minutes for it to re-position the cursor inside the box.
I can live with #2
, but I can’t live without what I originally had bookmarked in the forums. (I had over 300 discussions saved.) Thank god it saved all my current discussions that I had originally started, as well as it saving all my previous settings of upcoming notifications. Please, pretty please look into fixing #1
.
Mobile version does not have the “All Discussions” or “Discussions” tab like the Desktop version has. And like Chris mentioned you can’t use the Desktop version on a Mobile to write something as you don’t get a keyboard.

At least the mobile forums look a lot better than they did! It used to be dark blue with lots of lag
The preview function is also gone in the new update. @OoT2D
This is how wikiHow looked when I joined:

Faster, more easily accessible editing options. I like it!
My profile on the forums are way quicker!!!
It’s much faster and you can easily put codes.

I think it’s pretty good. You can use bold, italic, and other things much more easier, and the new features are also great too.

Bummer to hear about the bookmarks. To be honest, though, we’re *really* lucky that we even got the data from the old forum posts transferred over to here - it’s only thanks to Lojjik and Reuben’s hard work that we didn’t have to start from scratch, as I believe we did last time there was a big forum change. I’m happy to ask them about old bookmarks but my guess is we might just have to repopulate our lists. I know that’s a bummer and takes a little getting used to - sorry about that; but hopefully we can thank our lucky stars that we didn’t lose everything!
@Danielbauwens
I thought the same thing at first but I think there’s no preview feature because it’s WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get!) - no need to preview when it’s already looking how it’s going to look. You can click the button on the far right-hand side if you want to see the HTML instead if you need to, though!
@Byankno1
, my bookmarked thread was still kept - I only had one. It might be the fact that so much data is hard to carry over.
