I’m subscribed to a lot of animators, and one of them was not feeling mentally well, so I watched their vent art video to comment and give them some help… I hope they’re okay now.

My friend said “Watch the newborn elephant video”. uhm, yeah, she has no clue there’s more than 1 video. But I landed on one…
The baby had just been born, lying on the ground, not moving. Momma tried to nudge it, make it stand… no effect. She looped her trunk around its trunk–no good. Did you know an elephant’s trunk is all muscle, but until at least 1 year old it is useless as a tool…?
So momma is doing her best but getting nowhere. It doesn’t even look like the baby’s breathing! Several elephants join the space near mom, giving moral support and nudging baby. No use.
Then, a huge group came, milling around, sounding off, as if ordering the baby to stand and mom to be strong! I started to get teary, thinking the baby wasn’t going to live. But all the aunties and cousins kept trumpeting and nudging and trying to make baby stand up. And finally, she raised her head… and with great fanfare, she finally stood. Momma hadn’t even passed the afterbirth yet. Very tense and scary minutes.
