Hi Twinkletows5, It feels empowering. We are learning many things just like any other stage of life. During teenage years, one has to be aware of their own biological changes, expectations of their elders and teachers, deal with many ups and downs and try to become a better person as you experience all this. Having a goal in life like say wanting to be wiser, stronger or any other trait greatly helps in dealing with being a teenager or even an adult.

it’s fun but you have to deal with ups and downs through your teenage life

Things change; you grow farther from some people and closer to some. You dislike things you used to like and find new interests.

That’s one of the saddest and most joyful things about it

that’s very helpful as I am approaching the age of being a teen and it is nice to be assured that it is not going to be hell

Well, it’s different for everyone =\

You have all our support as you go through it though ;) Get ready for huge mood swings, weird emotions, and incoming maturity! (You might want to duck)

;D

Being a teen doesn’t just come BOOM like that on your 13th birthday, it kinda just gradually goes in. I turned 15 today and I still feel the same as yesterday. I’m not saying being a teenager is a walk in the park but it is great being more independent and mature.
