I was trying to edit my comment to fix a spelling mistake (doin’t which was supposed to be don’t). I edited it and saved it twice, but it still didn’t save, and stayed as a spelling mistake.

An error message could be appearing when you try to do so, which you might not be seeing. Try to fix the mistake again, and when you try to save it, look at the bottom left corner for an error message.

There was no error message - I tried it again, and the edit is still not saved.

That is strange. I test-edited my above comment and it seemed to save fine for me. Do you perhaps have an extension installed on your browser that could be interfering with it?

No. I had an extension on though in the past, but I turned it off.

It seems that you were able to edit your above comment, so it seems that it may just be related to how your computer handles certain threads.

Yeah, it might have been a glitch.

Yeah. It might just be another one of those occasional things that we have to live with.:confused:

I have the same issue. Whenever there is a spelling error which I read after posting the comment,I click of edit, correct it and posts again. But even after posting it, it shows the wrong spelling. Its been happening for a while in the forums.

You might not want to bump old threads. The bug was actually just a glitch.
