Usually the forums load fine but recently alot of times it just doesn’t appear to load at all. It comes up with error 503 backend unavailable I have to x out of it and try it multiple times to get back in but if I click on a new discussion or a game it more times than not will come.io
the error I have tried it with various internet networks and I’m 99% sure it’s not that so what is it?

Thanks for reporting this @LabLover
. I’m curious to hear from others to see if this is a common issue so will leave it open over the weekend.
Sometimes (not very often, but it’s happened), when I try to post a comment, it doesn’t post and displays the error message. However, usually it posts if I click “Post Comment” a second time, but if not, refreshing the page does the trick.
This has only happened to me a few times.
I don’t think that has ever happened to me.
This happens to me every now and then. It used to happen more often, but it seems to not happen as often now.
It happened to me before, but i haven’t experienced this issue in a while.
Yesterday it was particularly bad but today it’s loaded without issue
Problem seems to have solved it’s self so maybe we should close it @RubyRoseRain
@LabLover
I think this is normal. It is still happening to me. So I don’t think it’s fixed just yet. But @RubyRoseRain
maybe close this thread.
I feel like this thread should stay open. Some people are clearly still having this issue, as I did moments ago. It was left open so others could comment if they were experiencing something similar.
Yes, but my thread Error 503 Backend unavailable, connection timeout Backend unavailable, connection timeout Guru Mediation: Details: cache-syd10122-SYD 1586841778 365433581 Varnish cache server Should get closed because it is about the same thing

So in checking with our main infrastructure guru, it seems that this just may be a part of the current forum life - sometimes the forums receive a lot of automated (bot) traffic, and it’s not really set up for that. That can sometimes mean that it ends up giving out 503 errors to real people trying to access the forums!
Although there’s not really anything we can do to stop that right now, you never know, we might have something in the works to help improve forum-life sometime in the future…
#cryptic
I doesn’t really happen all the time, for me it just happens randomly

@Snowflakeiesta
thanks for the thought, but there’s no need, when we move forum platforms this won’t be an issue :)
