Someone says what they think will happen in wikiHow in 2012, then the next person says what they think will happen to wikiHow in 2013, then 2014, 2015 and so on

maybe…

In 2012, wikihow will hit 150,000 articles.

In 2013, wikiHow will get redesigned.

“60 % you should be a wikiHow administrator in 2015-2016”

2017 - A new user joins that will eventually become an admin.

2018- wikiHow will be the best how to manual in the world!!

2019 wikiHow will be the best site ever and hopefully jack will let me run it, that would totaly rock

2020 - All threads in the wikiHow forums that haven’t been posted on in a week will get blocked, just so people aren’t tempted. (A change we needed 9 years before.)

2021- the year of vandalism. Billions of people around the world vandalized wikiHow this year. But that’s okay, because the hundreds of admins from 2017 reverted all their edits. After the year of vandalism, many Admins considered not allowing non-admins to edit wikiHow. Will this happen? 2022 will show us the answer.

2022-wikiHow and eHow are having a fight; then eHow and wikiHow had to merge, wikihow now has 2,600,000 articles, with all eHow’s ready to edit.

2023 - vandals suddenly disappear, with a threatening note stating “we will be back to kick ur #$$”

2024 - ISMKW makes wikiHow history by writing his 1,000th article, patrolling his 100,000th edit, and providing a link to his 100th sandbox all within the same minute.

lemme know when that day comes, 'kay?

2025-wikiHow gets it’s 3,000,000 article!

  1. Vandals are back. Every single day of this year, 6,000 pages got vandalized. It was terrible. Luckily, we manage to maintain wikiHow. The Vandals fought back, by attacking wikiHow users in real life. At the end of the year, 21 wikiHow users were injured. Jack Herrick got a note 3 days before the 2027 New Years Party. It said “Watch Your Back WikiHow”. During the 2027 New Year Party, Jack Herrick noticed that the main page on wikiHow disappeared. Krystle pointed out that the articles had disappeared. Maluini noticed the RC app wasn’t working. Samantha pointed out the vandals had became hackers. Samantha grabbed a cookie, got on her laptop, and saved wikiHow with her amazing powers. Wooo!!!:smiley:Who knows what else is to come? I love this thread.

2027 - ISMKW gets a job at a publishing company after the better half of a decade working his way up the corporate ladder, and decides to use it to his advantage. The extensive guidebook wikiHow RL, as well as future versions, contain only featured articles, but because there are so many, they are big hits! People around the world learn how to do things…all without an Internet connection. Not a trace of vandalism is seen…

2028-Jimbo Wales and Jack Herrick have a meeting and decide to merge wikiHow and Wikipedia. One tab says wikiHow and the other says Wikipedia, kind of like when eHow and wikiHow were together.

2029 - All of the Wikis collaborate and take over a large portion of Internet domain. A rank above admin is created - paid worker. Vandalism is completely wiped out due to teamwork from the millions of people that go through wikis of all kinds every day.

There is a rank after admin. Bureaucrats
