I actually cheered last night when I was watching Parenthood and Max cited wikiHow as the place where he learned about how to do something. That was so fun to hear. And then I realized that at some point, I have probably edited that very article, too. Even better! Episode 606. Did anyone else see this?

That’s IT! Okay, now I need the wikiHow on How to Freeze a GIF. It looks to me like the writers of the episode have never actually read a wikiHow article. Tips for Teenage Guys: Dating? That would never be a wikiHow title, nor would our page look anything like that. But still, a mention. Cool
That’s so cool! Thanks for sharing that with us!

I think the Big Bang Theory mention is still my favorite but that’s cool to know that wikiHow is getting referenced on other shows.
I remember that reference by heart! (then again, I’m the one who wore two Big Bang Theory shirts at the 2014 meetup
) Howard: “It’d be helping if you weren’t drinking lite beer.” Raj: “What’s so gothic about cranberry juice and vodka?” Howard: “Hello? It looks like blood. Did you even read the wikiHow link I sent you on being goth?” Raj: “No, I’m behind on my wiki reading. I’m really getting into John Grisham.” And then later on in the episode when they meet two girls… Howard: “Can we buy you ladies a drink?” Girl: “Two lite beers.” Raj: “Lite beers. Well, wikiHow bout that?”

That’s pretty cool! I actually spotted wikiHow briefly a couple weeks ago on an episode of 48 Hours on CBS <ref>, they were showing a legal team researching how-to topics involving a particular case.
Either way, it’s awesome when our community gets spotlighted on TV :)</ref>
Wow! What a spotlight. Makes me feel good about the fantastic work that the community is doing!
I have seen wikiHow twice on TV earlier. Cheers!
