Whenever I go onto wikiTwitter thread it freezes, it doesn’t happen on any other threads and I know a virus link was posted on wikiTwitter. This may just be my iPad messing up but I thought I’d throw it out there.

I’m on a kindle and the same thing happened to me.

Evidently not just me then.

Can’t an admin delete the comment?

It’s me, @myheartsnotavase . I’m using my Facebook account. Let me see how it works for me.

They were going to, I can’t see how the link would affect someone if they didn’t click it though.

Maybe it’ s one of those complicated Tech things, or maybe it’ s affected the whole network (honestly, I don’ t know - I’ m not a COMPUTER-oligist.)

Not affecting me.

Happening again to me.

The iPad has lag maybe.:stuck_out_tongue:

Is this still happening? I don’t use the wikiTwitter thread, so I’m not aware of what is being discussed there lately or what is getting posted. This doesn’t seem like a network-related issue, because if it had been one, it would’ve affected the entire forums. The site was down a few hours ago , and a few days ago for maintenance. This could be the reason, but it is unlikely. If I am right, the forums and the wikiHow main website are hosted on different servers. If the main server had to be taken down for maintenance, the forums would still be up (I could be wrong, though). So, the maintenance downtime is an unlikely cause of this issue. The wikiTwitter has over 10,500 posts; and maybe your iPad took some time to load 'em. wikiTwitter is also one of the few threads on wikiHow forums where videos can be often found. Lag is the only reason I see for this issue. Since this has been observed by a few of you here, on different OSs and devices, I would suggest one of you to have a look at any specific trend in this issue (if it continues). Maybe embedding a lot of videos causes the lag, or it was just a temporary issue? Gaurang

It’s been fine since so maybe it was a temporary thing:slight_smile:
