There are days when we are sad, when there’s no one to talk to. Sometimes, I wonder what my life would have been like without this collaborative website. Only when we feel the vacuum is when we appreciate the goodness of what fills the vacuum. God knew how much we’d need someone to come forward to take an initiative and bring forth a how to manual that would give a good glimpse into how to do things. So He put a man in place, and appointed him, to choose an army of a lovely, qualified workforce, and start his wikiJourney.

Today is his brithday. Yes, it is the stars birthday that shines bright even from such a distance. Let’s celebrate the birthday of our very dear Jack Herrick who has directly and indirectly made such a lot of difference to our lives. Thank you for starting a legendary website that does not just display how to do something, but also helps us in leading better, and more meaningful lives.

We can all talk or rant about as contributors, so can the staff. However, at the highest point, one is solo, single handedly dealing with his own best and lesser best. So I hope you find eyes that empathize, smiles that reassures, ears that listen, lips that build hope, and nose that sniffs pain if you hide them. May your priorities be fortified, you be blessed forever, and your legacy be shared with one and all. I hope this year brings you lots of happiness, and fills you with light, love, and laughter.:slight_smile:

I hope you smile. And the reasons for your smiles keep growing.:partying_face:

Let’s wish our wikiFounder a very Happy Birthday.:partying_face:

Happy birthday, @JackHerrick ! There is simply no way for any of us – and anyone who’s used wikiHow – to express our gratitude! I hope you’ve enjoyed your birthday (and ate cake until you couldn’t! I’m just joking…!)

Indeed, that picture has swayed how I’m looking at things now…

@Fishermen You can click on the photograph icon to the lower right corner of the message box/ replying area. There’s a computer icon next to it too. Just click on the photo option and browse the image you want to upload. If you still need help, I can guide you with a more detailed reply. Just let me know on my talkpage.:slight_smile:

Happy birthday @JackHerrick ! I hope you have a great year:grin::grin::grin:

Hi everyone, this is Adelaide/Celeste. I lost the password to my old account @CelesteTu because I didn’t think I’d ever visit, but here I am on my new account, hahaha. I used to contribute here but have been inactive for a while, very busy with other things like school and my new online volunteering role. I am a real adult (though still very young) now and I have a boyfriend, but he doesn’t have time for wikiHow. Anyway, I wanted to say the 5+ years I spent on wikiHow were wonderful and I never forget your place in my life especially when I got to meet folks in person at the meetup (miss the pre-pandemic times). Very happy birthday @JackHerrick . I have a right to bump the thread this time (I even remember what bumping means!), hahaha.:slight_smile:

It appears to be a mens formal Kurta from India. You can find similar for sale on Amazon (and elsewhere).

I’d recommend going with silk for formal and cotton for everyday wear. (the picture is definitely formal wear)
