I feel like Aquarians can be distant. My best friend is an Aquarius, and I love him, but sometimes he will go weeks without messaging me if I don't reach out. I know it's not because he doesn't care. When we do hang out with each other, we pick right back up from where we left off and he's very present and a blast to hang out with! It took me a while to get used to his aloofness but I know he's a loyal friend.

I just found out my now ex was an Aquarius moon. What a waste of my life. He lied about everything regarding getting married and having children until fifth year. Then when I confronted him about marriage he dropped a bomb saying he doesn’t believe in marriage. And he let me know he is an anxious avoidant attachment style. Aka living very distantly between 3floors barely even saying a sentence a week to each other, sleeping on separate floors.

I have recently started a friend's with benefits relationship with an aquarius man. I'm a 48f he's 57m. I'm a virgo fire dragon he's got a Scorpio rising. So together we are all 4 elements me,earth and fire. Him wind and water. When together we laugh,we have great conversations and the sex is amazing. We only see each other once a week but when we do it's magic. Then the time in-between he's a different person. I'm an aquarius also, when I'm in a relationship I forget about everything, well almost everything when I'm with her, and give her my whole attention. This kind of focus cannot be sustainable for me as it is draining. So I just enter into a detached mode when we're apart, does not mean I'm playing games or I'm second guessing if she is important for me or not. Hope this helps.
