How to get a mate on WolfQuest 2.7! Please note this tutorial may not work with WolfQuest 2.5, and does not work with WolfQuest AE/3.
Steps
-
Start or load a game in Amethyst Mountain
-
Get to 800 EXP. You can do this by hunting, killing, chasing off predators, or with stranger wolf encounters.Advertisement
-
Find and interact with a wolf from each territory (you can do so by searching and following the yellow dots within their territory). After 3 encounters, dispersal wolves will start to appear.
-
Re-enter or go to another wolf territory and find a dispersal you like. You may have to do this multiple times depending on the spawns.
-
Interact with your chosen dispersal in the following order:
- Hello there.
- I like you.
- Let's play!
- Let's start a pack!
- Let's start a pack!
-
Name your new mate.
-
Go to Slough Creek or stay on Amethyst Mountain.

QuestionThe female Specimen keeps attacking me, even if I do just nice things!Community AnswerYou can't make Specimen wolves into mates. You need to find Dispersal wolves, then you pick the following, "I like you", "Let's play" etc. Then finally at five hearts, pick "Let's start a pack!" then boom, you have a mate.

QuestionI have a mate but I cannot find a den and thus cannot get pups. What should I do?Community AnswerYou have to look in the green area, and keep searching in that space until you find the den. If you are in the Saddle Meadows, it will be in the middle of the green area.

QuestionHow do you get a mate on the trial version? Or, do you have to have the full version?Community AnswerYou can get a mate in the trial version, you just have to have 800+ experience. It's the same as in the full version. You do need the full version to progress and have pups though.

Tips
- Don't be surprised if you end up finding three yellow dotted lines joining together. That's good, it means you are close to the stranger wolf. Thanks
- Try not to find a Druid, they're hard to get along with. Thanks
