In the 2.5.1 version, you need to have dominated at least one wolf in each territory. A message will pop up, telling you to find a mate. Go to a wolf territory and follow the yellow dots in scent mode (Press Z). A dispersal should show up -- press "positive remarks only".

QuestionHow do I get a mate on the newest version?Community AnswerYou just kill a lot of elk, hares, coyotes or chase off bears or cougars infill you have 800 experience points. To check your points, hit "esc" and click on "Pack Stats". Once you have 800 points you can go to the three territories untill you find a dispersal mate that is the opposite gender. Make sure to say nice things so you don't scare him/her off. Once you have gotten your mate, name them and head to the star shown on your compass.

Chase them, as these are the easiest to kill. The bull elk is a lot harder to kill, so don't go after it until you have a mate.

QuestionWill these methods work for the mobile version?Community AnswerYes. In the mobile version, 2.7, you have to have about 600-800 experience points to find a Dispersal Wolf. Chasing coyotes, hunting elk and sometimes chasing grizzly bears gives you more experience. But remember, if you DO choose to attack a Bull Elk in the single player, it's quite hard and dangerous, as attacking Bull Elk is easier in the multiplayer.

QuestionWhy can't I dominate any territories even though I have lots of experience?Community AnswerIt mostly depends on your strength; some wolves are stronger than others. Find another wolf and say "I'm the boss!" (If that doesn't work, say it again.) You'll attack them, and when they attack you back, watch your health bars to see who does more damage. If you do more damage, keep saying, "No! I'm the boss!" and the wolf you are trying to dominate will give in when it has half its heath left.
