      Tips

      • You cannot change usernames to a username that is already taken, just like creating a username for your account.

      Tips from our Readers

The advice in this section is based on the lived experiences of wikiHow readers like you. If you have a helpful tip you’d like to share on wikiHow, please submit it in the field below.
      • Since username changing is expensive, ($1000 or smaller or higher) you should ask yourself; “Do I think my username isn’t appealing anymore?” or, “Do I really wanna waste my parent's money to buy me a new username?” If you answered those questions in mind, you should be able to easily decide whether or not you want to.
      • Some popular trends right now include using "ii", "xx" ,"x", "i" or "1" at the start of your username. Also, try to be creative and replace characters in your username. If you used the name “Berry”, think of something like iB3rryXX. One again, be creative, and have fun. Do not think too much about it, It's just a game.
      • What if you want your old username back? In this case, you should make two accounts. That way you can keep your username and have a backup account.
