Go to Santalune City (it is one of the very first places you visit).

Go to the Pokémon Center and buy some Poké Balls at the Poké Mart area. Make sure you have enough Pokédollars. If you don't, sell some of the items you have that you don't intend to use.Advertisement

Once you have some Poké Balls, go to Santalune Forest (The forest between Routes 2 and 3).

Look through the tall grass. It is rare, but it may seem easy for some. If you're lucky, you could find the cute little Pokémon mascot Pikachu!
