    • You can also click and drag the needs bars up and down with your mouse. This will stop working after you make needs static.
  4. Shift-click the mailbox a second time and select Make Needs Static . Your Sims' needs will not change as long as this is enabled.

How can I make my Sims needs not go down in Sims 4?

Press Ctrl-Shift-C and type in "Testingcheats on" (without the "s) and then you can shift click on a Sim or mailbox and stop the needs from going down.

I shift-clicked on my mailbox and it said there were no interactions available, but my testing cheats were enabled. What should I do?

      Tips

      • With testingcheats enabled, you can remove negative moodlets by holding Ctrl and clicking on the moodlet. If the moodlet is connected to a need, doing this will fill the need partway.
      • If you only want to lock or slow down the decay of some motives for one Sim, you can purchase Lifetime Happiness Rewards that affect your Sim's motives. The ones you'll want to look for are Steel Bladder, Dirt Defiant, Carefree, Hardly Hungry, and Meditative Trance Sleep.
