  • 5 to 6 chopped coriander mint leaves (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp chili powder for color (optional)
  • 1 chopped green chile
  • 1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
  • salt to taste
  1. Add chopped green chile, chopped onions and sugar. Sauté until the onions caramelize and turn reddish brown.

  3. Allow to simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes.
  4. Alternatively combine the ingredients in a bowl and stir for about a minute.
  5. Sprinkle the black pepper over the entire dish. Give a good stir, then add the finely chopped coriander leaves. Cover with the lid and let it simmer for ten minutes.
