Do you have a Yahoo account? Do you want to create a second Yahoo account? Your Yahoo Mail account allows you to create a second email address for free. You can easily switch between accounts using the profile menu without having to log in again. This wikiHow teaches you how to create a secondary Yahoo email address and link it to your primary Yahoo account.

Things You Should Know

  • On a computer, hover your mouse over your profile photo and select "Add or Switch Accounts" > "Add another account" > "Create an account."
  • In the mobile app, tap your profile picture and go to "Manage accounts" > "Add account" > "Create an account."
  • To switch between accounts, click or tap your profile picture and select the other account.

  1. To do so, go to https://login.yahoo.com/ in a web browser. Enter your Yahoo username or email and click your Next . Then enter your password and click Next .
    • If you have two-factor authentication enabled, you may need to enter the code that displays on your phone or in your recovery email address.
  2. It's in the upper-right corner of the screen.
    • If you have not set a profile picture, it will be a circular icon with your initial in the middle.

  3. It's in the drop-down menu. This displays a screen that allows you to switch accounts or add another account.

    • Alternatively, you can create a new email using your Google account. To do so, click Continue with Google .
  6. You will need to enter your first and last name, an email alias, a password, and your birthdate. Click Continue when you are finished.

  8. Once you get the code, enter it on the Yahoo web page and click Continue. This will confirm your account and sign you into your new account.
  9. There are two ways you can switch between accounts:
    • From Yahoo's main page, hover over your profile icon in the upper-right corner and click Add or switch accounts . Then click the account you want to switch to.

    • If your Yahoo account is saved to your web browser, click the Yahoo account you want to sign in to and then enter your password.
