  • Question
How can I open blocked websites like Facebook?
    Community Answer
Go on Google Chrome and look at the top right corner, where there should be an icon that says "Google Apps" when you hover your mouse over it. Sometimes the school forgets to block these sites because they're links from Google. There are options to go on websites such as YouTube, Google Play, and possibly Facebook.
  • Question
Can I enter a blocked website without a proxy?
    Community Answer
Use Google Translate. Sometimes, you can bypass the restriction by converting the blocked website into some other language that you may know.
  • Question
Why doesn't method 2 work for me?
    Tim Loranger
    Community Answer
You have probably run into a WiFi/internet connection with high-efficiency blocking, a connection that has blocked basically all above tricks, even Google Translate.
  • Question
I am just learning how to access restricted sites. Using method 4, do I have to purchase a computer dedicated to proxy & use another computer (e.g. laptop) to access the proxy server?
    Community Answer
No. You should only need to install it onto your computer, and it will be there locally.
  • Question
Is there another option I can use if all of these methods are blocked on my computer?
    Community Answer
You can try using a private proxy (for example, proxyseo.es) in your browser; no extra software is needed.
  • Question
What do I do if proxies don't work when trying to access blocked websites?
    Community Answer
Try using Tor, Google Translate or Web.Archive.org. See Method 5 on how to install Tor.
  • Question
I want to get a VPN so I can access blocked websites except that the websites needed to get the VPNS are blocked.
    Freddy Chavez
    Community Answer
In most cases, high-quality VPNs like NordVPN or Tunnelbear have alternate links to reach them. Or reach out to their support, they can give you a workaround.
  • Question
So Tor can be used as protable browser, but does it have in-built proxy?
    TutorialGod4
    Community Answer
A TOR browser is routed through various nodes hosted in different countries. This hides your IP address from the websites you are visiting, thus acting as a proxy.
  • Question
What if everything is blocked, is there a free VPN? And if yes, what is the name of it? What are some free VPNS for school?
    Freddy Chavez
    Community Answer
I assume your school is blocking access to most websites? If that's the case a VPN would help, but I wouldn't use a free one. In most cases, they won't get around the block, and if they do, you'll have a limited amount of bandwidth, not to mention that all your data will be sold for a profit. Try some of the premium ones out there, just a quick online search for best VPN will get you a few options.
