Look for tryout opportunities around you. There might be smaller clubs arranging trials. Go for tryouts there and improve yourself. Someday a club scout might recognize your skill and offer you opportunity at a bigger club. This cycle continues and you might reach the top.

Many professional clubs hold open tryouts, which means anyone can try out but it usually costs money and you ae unlikely to be selected to the team unless you’re very good because it’s a professional team. Keep in mind the clubs most likely to do this are lower-tier clubs or clubs that have youth or academy teams.

  • Question
How do I become a football player if I have the talent but there's no local club around me?
    Community Answer
You can always practice by yourself or with others in order to improve. In order to join a club, look online or ask around in case you’re missing anything, if you still can’t find anything, you can always make a team or a small recreational league but that would require some work. If you don’t want to do this, look around and try to figure out the closest football club to you and you can decide if you’re willing to make that commute in order to play for that club.
  • Question
Do I have a chance to play football after 21?
    Community Answer
Of course you do! The only disadvantage of starting later is that you will be behind other players on a technical level. If you are starting late, all you have to do is commit to the game and train very often whether it’s with others or by yourself. It may be difficult to start playing if you’re over the age of 30 or so because that’s when the human body starts to physically break down (although it can still be done), but 21 is actually a very good age in terms of physical ability.
