  • Question
What do I do if I am being asked for a password after step 12 of the Mac methods? I don't know the password.
    Community Answer
It should be the password for the computer you log into. This is what worked for me.
  • Question
Will doing this notify the admins?
    Community Answer
Specify Admins, but not the circle admin, as this doesn't directly affect the circle. In most cases, this will not notify the network admin(s).
  • Question
Why can't I type in the the password on the Disney Parental Controls?
    Community Answer
Probably because you don't know it? Unless of course it just isn't popping up with a prompt at all. That would be an issue with the app itself.
  • Question
Where is the circle by Disney in device management?
    Community Answer
That is only if you have Circle Go installed on your iPhone. If you delete the management profile it will notify the Circle admin, so disabling its ability to reconnect to the VPN is the next best option.
  • Question
What should I do if Circle is built into my Windows PC router?
    Community Answer
Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about that. Have you tried connecting via ethernet?
  • Question
How do I get through disabling Circle by Disney without administrator permissions?
    Community Answer
You can install a VPN. NordVPN is the most used and most secure VPN out there.
  • Question
How do I bypass Circle on a Chromebook?
    Community Answer
You can use a VPN, connect to a different internet (if the circle is built into the router), or use a website that will let you use a proxy online. You can also use a proxy, but proxies are very slow compared to VPN. If you are going to use a VPN, try ExpressVPN. Tip: leave something educational running in the background so nobody gets suspicious.
  • Question
How would I turn off circle by Disney with a school issued Chromebook that they gave to use for working at home?
    Community Answer
A VPN should work here, or you could try connecting the device via ethernet to remove external connections.
  • Question
How would i turn it off on a I-Mac? I have no access to the settings as they have a passcode, circle is build in so switching it off isn't A option.
    Community Answer
If you have an Intel iMac (2006-2021), then hold Command+R at startup, which will bring will into recovery mode, where you can either reset the Mac (which will completely erase everything on the iMac, including parental controls), or you can change the admin password. To change the admin password, open terminal, type resetpassword and select the admin account and enter a new password. You will then be able to log in as an admin, where you should be able to uninstall parental controls.
  • Question
How do I bypass it if it's through the router, no circle box and nothing in device settings?
    Community Answer
If you have a Windows device, then you can use a Mac address changer to trick the router into thinking it is a different device.
  • Question
If you turn the Circle block (cube plugged in) all the way off, does it notify the parent(s)? And if you delete the app from your phone, does it notify parents?
    Community Answer
Altering Circle in any way will notify the managing parent. However, if you can get a hold of your parent's phone, you could intercept the notification and remove it.
