    Expert Answer
Everyone has different strengths, different weaknesses, and different comfort levels. If you're a person who doesn't like being close to people, don't go for a type of martial arts that only does grappling. If you're a person who likes using your hands, don't go to a kicking school. Each martial art has its specialties. Do your research on the different styles that are available in the area that you want to train. Visit them and see if that environment is conducive to your learning capability, your learning style, and for you as a person.

  • Question
How do I train like Goku?
    Community Answer
In a literal sense, you can't train like Goku and expect to live. He's done some pretty crazy things, including training in 100 times Earth gravity. Humans start to lose consciousness around 9-10 times normal gravity and risk serious injury and death much beyond that. That said, if you look back at his earlier years, you can emulate some of what he did. Build up your physical endurance, like he did when he wore that heavy turtle shell at Master Roshi's place. Also, learn a martial art. In particular, Goku would have probably learned a Japanese style like karate. Finally, whatever you do, don't give up.
