  • Question
Where is the scripts folder in the Skyrim file?
    Community Answer
There isn't one by default. Simply make a new folder named "Scripts", put it into your Skyrim data folder, and copy the required files into it.
  • Question
Does this work with the remastered edition?
    Community Answer
SKSE hasn't been reworked for Skyrim: Special Edition. I don't believe the original creators plan on doing it, either.

    Community Answer
Any mods that need SKSE will state that they require SKSE to properly work. Most mods are extract and play, but many still require SKSE.
  • Question
How do I get SKSE in the mod manager?
    Community Answer
Do the same thing as in this guide, but instead of copying the files from the scripts folder, you have to do the following: 1. Make sure winrar is installed. If not, just install it. 2. Right click on the "data" folder in your skse/skse64 folder. Click "Add to archive" from the dropdown list, then make the archive type a .zip. 3. Go to Nexus Mod Manager and click "Add mod from file." Locate the zip file and click "Open." Then, just activate the mod.
  • Question
What do I do if skse_loader.exe is not found?
