  • Question
How do I make a model rocket? How do I make a rocket that can make a small explosion?
    Community Answer
Use a hobby rocket engine, and attach an m-80 firecracker to the top of an e4 engine using electrical tape, making sure that the fuse is bent downward in order to catch the ejection charge flame. Attach a stick, place a fuse or igniter in the engine core, and shoot it off!
  • Question
How do I make a launcher for my model rocket?
    Community Answer
You usually have no choice but to buy one, unless you want to get very technically advanced. If your rocket is Estes, it can be cheaper to buy a launch set that comes with a new rocket rather than buying just a launch controller and a launch pad/tower.

You could get a set online or at your local craft store. You could make your own, and you can find propellant on online.
  • Question
What happens after the propellant burns out in a model rocket?

After the propellant burns out, the rocket will coast upward on momentum for a while. Nothing should ignite after the propellant burns out; if it does, expect your rocket to be damaged when it returns to the ground.
