What kinds of foods can I use to make carp bait?

Try corn, white bread, strawberry jelly, peanut butter, marshmallows, bacon, hotdogs, chicken. You can use almost anything to make carp bait but I suggest you use something along those lines. My favorite bait recipe for carp is to take 3-4 slices of white bread, spread smooth peanut butter on each slice, then spread strawberry jelly over the peanut butter, then put 5 to 10 pieces of sweet corn on each slice then sprinkle a little white sugar over the slices and roll up the bread into a ball. Make sure the corn and other ingredients can stay inside. Make the bread stiff so it stays on your hook, then get some thick dough and put it around the bread ball, so it is a half a inch thick. Cut the bread ball bait into the size of your choice.
