Ask him questions about himself. Show him you’re curious about his life or his day by asking questions. You’ll make your boyfriend feel seen, which can make him crazy about you. Being a good listener also makes your boyfriend feel heard and understood.
  • Question
How do I make my boyfriend's guy friends jealous when I'm around them?
    Chy_2
    Community Answer
This is when you show him how much you love him, but don't change who you are. If you two are typically a quiet couple, don't go all loud and obnoxious, stay simple and subtle. Hold onto his arm or stand closer to him. Your actions should scream "He's mine!" without actually screaming it. They will see how you treat him and want a girl like you for themselves.
  • Question
How can we maintain the spark in our relationship?
    Community Answer
Try giving each other small yet meaningful gifts, and expressing your feelings as often as possible. Spend time together and build each other's trust.
  • Question
My boyfriend says he loves me, but the other day I got into a fight with him and he said he doesn't have the same feelings about me that I do about him. What should I do?
    Community Answer
A lot of hurtful things may be said during an argument. Wait until you've both had time to calm down and cool off, and then calmly talk to him about what he said. If it turns out he really meant it, then it's probably time to break up and move on, but there's a good chance he was just speaking out of anger.
  • Question
I have dated my boyfriend for 1.5 years, and we had sex last month, but now I'm worried because he is not talking to me and sometimes not picking up my calls. What should I do?
    Community Answer
Next time you talk to him, ask him what's going on. Tell him you're worried because you're not hearing from him as frequently and he's not always taking your call. Ask him if there's something wrong or if he's having second thoughts about the relationship. Talk it through and see where you stand.
  • Question
What if my boyfriend decides to have sex with me every two days, is that right?
    Community Answer
Your boyfriend doesn't "decide" when/how often the two of you have sex. That is a decision for both of you. If your boyfriend is trying to make you have sex when you don't want to, break up with him. He doesn't respect you. If you do want to have sex every two days (or more frequently or less frequently) that is totally fine. Again, it's up to the two of you to decide.
  • Question
I'm dating a guy, but I sometimes feel like I love my ex even though I broke up with him. I just can't bring myself to lose my new boyfriend, even though am having doubts about my love for him.
    Community Answer
The correct answer may be that neither person is right for you. You might consider getting out of your current relationship and take some time to think about what you really want and whether you're actually over your ex; it's not good to be stressing yourself mentally/emotionally, as well as lying to your new boyfriend.
  • Question
I love my boyfriend very much, but he told me he is strictly my boyfriend and nothing else is attached to it. I'm scared of losing him one day; what should I do?
    Tom De Backer
    Top Answerer
I'm not sure what is meant by "nothing else is attached". A love relationship is everything. It includes sex, living together, sharing plans for the future, shared financial responsibilities, caring for each other when you're sick, and love. He's not your boyfriend if he refuses to do these things. So he just wants the title of being "your boyfriend" but doesn't want to put in any effort, my advice is to look for someone else who makes these efforts and is proud to be with you.
  • Question
I have a boyfriend, and I love him very much, but I think he's still in love with another girl. How do I know if he really loves me?
    Community Answer
If you are comfortable with your boyfriend, talk to him about how you feel about him and the other girl. Ask how he honestly feels about her and about you, and tell him this is making you feel uncomfortable. If he does truly love you back, he will reassure you of his true feelings towards you.
  • Question
After a year of dating, my boyfriend says he loves me, and he isn't pushing me away, be he needs me to be hard to get. He says I'm too available. What should I do?
    Community Answer
Your life shouldn't revolve around just him. Be around different people. Spend time with family and friends. Interest yourself in different things. Give him plenty of space. Set limits for how often you contact him. However, if you don't agree with what he's saying to you, or you think he's being too demanding, this is probably not the right relationship for you. Think it over.
  • Question
We have completed 1 year, but I feel like he has someone else in his heart. How can I find our if he is with someone else and really cheating on me?
    AllyJr.
    Community Answer
Relationships need trust. If you feel like you don't trust him anymore, try to talk it out with him. Maybe he has something in mind for you or maybe he is faced with some difficulty.
  • Question
I've been dating this guy, and when we are outside of school he shows affection, but at school and in front of all of his friends, he only sits by me, and when I hold his hand he pulls away. What do I do?
    Community Answer
He's probably afraid his friends are going to tease him. Just have a talk with him and let him know that this upsets you. Tell him that if he really cares for you, he shouldn't let his friends get in the way of that.
  • Question
I've been with this guy for a few months. We really like each other, and I know he really loves me, but sometimes I think it's a bit more of a lust relationship. Whenever I mention it he gets angry. What do I do?
    Community Answer
If you feel like your relationship is going nowhere, then maybe it's time to move on. Otherwise, maybe you need to spend some time with your significant other doing stuff together, like watching movies or something similar. You should also discuss what you feel is missing from the relationship and explain what you're worried about. If you feel like there's no romance, then tell him that. Have a detailed and meaningful discussion, and you should be able to figure out where you stand.
  • Question
I just found out a girl who is an old enemy is flirting with my boyfriend when I'm not around. The worst part is she knows I'm dating him. What do I do?
    Community Answer
If she knows he's your boyfriend, she's doing it to upset you. Don't let it. Ignore the whole situation. If you trust your boyfriend, you really have nothing to worry about. If you're really concerned, have a calm conversation with him about what you've heard and how you feel about this girl, just to make sure you're on the same page in terms of how to handle it.
  • Question
What if my boyfriend isn't showing signs of love?
    Tom De Backer
    Top Answerer
Human beings have their own personal ways of showing their emotions. Some wear their hearts on their sleeves, others are much more tight-lipped. Take into account that just because you want him to show love, you can't really force him to be someone he's not. He may well be indeed in love with you, but it's just his personality not to show it.
  • Question
My boyfriend and I are going on a date on Saturday to the movies, and I don't know if I should kiss him or not. Should I?
    Community Answer
That depends on whether or not you feel ready to take that step. It's okay to be nervous, but if you're really not sure, you can always wait. (If you do kiss him, don't make out in the movie theater, it's rude to the other patrons.)
  • Question
He is always angry with me, what do I do?
    Community Answer
Why is he angry? Are you doing something you do not usually do? Sit down with him and have a conversation about it.
  • Question
He's planning a date tomorrow, but I have urgent work business. Should I go with him or finish the work assignment?
    Community Answer
It's usually best to deal with work first and re-schedule your date. You might decide differently if there's a reason the date is very important, and it has to happen tomorrow.
  • Question
I have a boyfriend I love and he shows that he loves me too but I think he still loves his ex. What should I do?
    Community Answer
You use a lot of "I think" language. This means you don't know but have chosen to imagine what he might be thinking and that sort of guessing is a recipe for disaster. Instead, step outside of your self pity and talk about it with him so you know where he stands and he's aware of your worries. If there is something to it, you'll know from his responses. Remind yourself of the statement you made in this question: "He shows that he loves me too," as that's the real issue you need to believe in.
  • Question
My boyfriend never say he loves me and always ignores me in public. What should I do?
    Community Answer
Talk to him about how you feel about the way you're being treated. Tell him exactly what you want and expect from him. If he can't give you what you want, break up with him. For the most part, it's impossible to change another person.
  • Question
Is it okay to have sex on a first date?
    Tom De Backer
    Top Answerer
Of course. You can do whatever you like - it's your body, your choice, your decisions. If you feel like it, and so does your date, go for it. However (you knew it was coming), the only thing that counts is that you're both in the same gear. If your date only just memorized your last name, and you're already mentally picking out the furniture, you're headed for disappointment. If your partner thinks sex means you love the person but to you it's just for fun, one of you will be disappointed. But since this is true whether you have sex on the first or the umpteenth date, you can do it whenever you like.
  • Question
My boyfriend is busy everyday. I asked few times about kissing, but he was too busy. What should I do?
    Community Answer
If your boyfriend is too busy to make time for you in a relationship, you can either talk to him and tell him you'd like him to make time for you, or move on and find someone who appreciates spending time with you.
  • Question
I love my boyfriend, but I don't like the way he behaves sometimes. He goes out at night with his uncle until 3 a.m. and when he comes back he's very rude. What do I do?
    Community Answer
Why does he go out every night until 3 a.m.? Have you told him that this is bothering you? If you've tried talking to him about your feelings and he's still treating you this way, I'd suggest you break things off with him.
  • Question
What do I do if my boyfriend kisses me in a way that doesn't turn me on anymore?
    Community Answer
Did he change the way he kisses you? If so, you should just gently tell him that you liked the way he kissed before. If you're realizing you're just not interested in him romantically/sexually anymore, it's probably better to just break up now so you're not wasting any more of your/his time.
  • Question
Whenever I am with my boyfriend and his friends, he always sits 5 feet away, and he barely talks to me, and never holds my hand or puts his arm around me. What do I do?
    Community Answer
He's probably shy about doing these things in front of his friends because he doesn't want to get teased. You should talk to him about this (when you're alone). Let him know that it hurts your feelings that he completely ignores you when he's around his friends. Try to come to some kind of compromise. He doesn't need to be all over you when his friends are around, but at the very least he should be talking to you.
  • Question
My boyfriend will not make it official on Facebook nor will he post about me. Should I dump him?
    TheArtOfSarcasm
    Community Answer
No, you shouldn't dump him for this reason alone. Sit down with him and ask him why he hasn't made it official on his Facebook. There's a variety of reasons why he wouldn't and it's better to ask than to just assume.
  • Question
I broke up with my ex last year but I still love him. He came back, how do I know he really means it?
    Community Answer
The fact that he came back to you means a lot. However, you both need to have a deep talk about whether he means to stay with you long term now because you need the certainty in your life after the breakup.
  • Question
He will playing on a football team tomorrow, and I want to go to see him play, but I don't know if my parents will let me, what do I do?
    Community Answer
Try your hardest to go to the game, but if you can't go, tell him that you hope his team wins. Try to get a group of people together to go to the game, your parents might be more willing to let you go if you'll be with friends.
  • Question
I've been dating my boyfriend for a year, but I haven't met up his parents or his friends. Does he love me?
    Community Answer
Talk to him about it, especially if this is bothering you. Tell him that you're wondering where things stand between the two of you and where he sees the relationship going in the future. Mention that you'd like to meet his family and friends. If he's hesitant to introduce you, he's probably not that serious about you.
