DC does not have a bottle deposit, so you would not be able to get paid for bottles. If you're in the recycling business, you can sell baled bottles by the ton to a business-to-business oriented recycler, such as the businesses that buy them from your trash haulers. They'll expect them to be baled and probably require you to bring them by tons.
