    It depends. To trick it, place a doll in your bed and hide. If it eats the doll, run! If it doesn't, it's safe. But Midnights are dangerous. They aren't pets. Never keep one. If you like them, keep a Dwarf Midnight Dragon instead.

    The best way is to NOT cook one. This action will get you arrested by the MCPG (Mythological Creature Protection Guild). As the rules clearly state, “Any egg identifiable as that of a mystic animal shall remain untouched. The punishment for doing so is one or all of the following: being fined $1,500, up to 6 months in custody, or 120 days of community service.”
